Point Spread
A Point Spread is used in sports betting to even the odds between two unevenly matched teams. Each team is given a point total that can either be added or subtracted to a team's final score. The FLYERS (+120) are worth a shot for the upset on home ice after letting a 2-goal lead slip away Wednesday. The Bruins dominated puck possession with 53.68% of all shot attempts, including blocked and missed shots, at 5-on-5, but the Flyers had 58.33% of the even-strength scoring chances.
Boston was also opportunistic in scoring on 3 of 4 power-play opportunities. Even at a 28th-ranked 70.73% success rate, the Flyers penalty kill should be better than that.

Against the spread (ATS)
The FLYERS +1.5 (-250) can also be backed for the insurance on the puck line with a small wager. Their last three games have gone to extra time, and they won two of those over the Islanders. The Bruins are 4-0-1 in their last five games, and three of those went to overtime.
These teams met for a two-game set in Boston Jan. 21 and 23; Boston won the first game by a 5-4 score in a shootout.
Over/Under (O/U)
